February 18, 2014, Gorham, ME, USA – Montalvo, international specialists in web tension control, welcomes Ted Dufour as their new Software Engineer. Mr. Dufour’s primary responsibilities will focus on existing and new product software development and electrical engineering. Mr. Dufour has previously worked for Montalvo from 2003-2006 and has acted as an independent consultant since 2011.
Chief Operating Officer Robin Goodwin says “Ted has been a key component in designing some of our core products including the CB64 circuit board, which is the heart of our D, DTI, and X controllers as well the A4 digital amplifier and variety of other products. We are excited that Ted has rejoined the organization on a full time basis to advance our product offering.”
Ted Dufour’s background includes 35 years of experience in semiconductors, database analytics, and software and electrical engineering with multiple companies including: National Semiconductor, Fairchild Semiconductor, Diebold Inc, and Hampton Systems. Mr. Dufour has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine.
