June 15, 2015, Gorham, ME, USA – Montalvo, international specialists in web tension control, has promoted Chris Osgood to Director of Engineering. Mr. Osgood’s primary responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of new product development and innovation, supporting Montalvo’s existing product line and customer base, custom design projects, and managing a team of mechanical and electrical engineers.

Mr. Osgood has been with Montalvo for 7 years, playing a key role the creation of new products including closed loop controllers, re-designed safety chucks, sensors and more. Mr. Osgood holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine at Orono. Last year Mr. Osgood filed for two patents for the Montalvo Corporation.
