DTI-3400ce Dancer Controller with Tension Indication
The DTI-3400 Dancer Controller with Tension Indication adds a new dimension to web tension control systems that employ a dancer. Dancer control is provided by Montalvo's unique Progressive PID circuitry, which regulates output to the unwind brake and maintains the position of the dancer arm. A signal provided by load cells and displayed on the analog meter is used for setting and monitoring actual web tension. New features include: Transferable memory card, RS-232 interface to computer or PLC and “on board” DeviceNet, Profibus DP, CANopen and Modbus fieldbus connections.
Dancer Controller Options:
- D-3400 Dancer Controller
- Functionally identical to the DTI-3400 except that it has no analog tension meter
- Smaller IP54 enclosure for limited space applications
- CB64 circuit board
- Used by all 3400 series tension controllers
- For OEMs or end users who might provide their own enclosures
